The location of the Spirit Towers was what sprouted the idea behind the concept for its design. The axis on which the towers are located was originally a line that divided the country into two parts during the Lebanese Civil war. Because the towers are located exactly on that axis, they serve as a point of reunion between the two sides. Many floors in the unidentical towers are connected to each other and serve as one apartment, therefore reflecting the reunion of the Lebanese people despite the small difference between each individual and the other. The towers host flexible floor plans where each floor is unique in its composition, with varying balcony geometries for maximized view and privacy
